Randy Simoneaux—Chairman/CEO
Randy Simoneaux, building on his prior experience with business ventures in the electronic payment industry, founded CISI in 2005. In 1993, Randy co-founded and directed TASQ Technology, Inc. to become the largest and most recognized electronic payment industry provider of its kind. TASQ, a logistics and information management outsourcing company, experienced extraordinary growth, and captured in excess of 50% of the industry between 1993 and 2000 when it was acquired by First Data Corporation. It continues to be the primary support platform in the electronic transaction industry today.
Randy has remained active in the electronic transaction industry as an investor in such companies as iPayment, Inc. and Verus Financial Management. He is also an equity partner in iTeam Companies, the technology, processing and clearing alliance that CISI represents as a Master Distributor.
Matt Hamilton, CPA—President
Matt joined CISI in January 2005 as an Executive Vice President and Director of Sales and Strategic Development. He most recently served as Vice President and Manager of the Private Banking group with Fifth Third Bank. His professional career began in Nashville with Deloitte & Touche, LLP where he practiced public accounting, specializing in corporate and individual tax planning and compliance. After departing public accounting, Matt worked in compliance and mergers and acquisitions for HCA – The Healthcare Corporation of America. His banking experienced began with First American National Bank and AmSouth Bank where he served as a relationship manager in the automotive and commercial middle market sector.
Matt is from Knoxville, Tennessee and graduated from The University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Masters of Accountancy with a specialization in Taxation. He currently sits on the Development Board for The Frist Center for the Visual Arts, the Associate Board of The Nashville Symphony, the Executive Board of The Green Hills YMCA and is a licensed CPA and a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. His understanding of Bank products along with his accounting and sales related background make him a valuable asset to our customer base.
George Schuh—Director of Remittance Systems
A career veteran in the high transaction volume payments arena, George has held a series of senior management positions spanning accountability for operations, technology, business development and customer support roles.
He most recently was President and CEO of eImage Solutions, Inc., where he called upon his extensive financial transaction item processing experience to create a desktop remittance product. At National Processing Company, he was Vice President and Manager of Sales, Product Development & Customer Support. He also was Senior Operations Officer for the remittance processing product line at NPC where he managed an organization with multiple operating sites, administered budgets in excess of $40 million and oversaw a staff of more than 600.
As Assistant Vice President Operations at Broadcast Music Inc., the world's largest music licensing enterprise, George served on the International Data Standards and Rules Working Group as well as the Procedures, Standards and Rules Expert Group. In this capacity he contributed vision and business advisory services related to the creation of global royalty payment systems and the implementation of data exchange IT solutions. He also chaired an International Committee formed to develop and deploy eCommerce initiatives and data integrity solutions for composers and publishers in foreign territories.
He also served as Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Customer Service for North American Financial Services Company, a core processor servicing community banks. Prior to that George was corporate cash manager for a Fortune 500 healthcare company. George is a graduate of Georgetown College and the Kentucky School of Banking.
Will Simoneaux, CPA—Exec Vice President/CFO
Will brings 25 years of experience in public and private accounting and specific industry experience in electronic payments. He has served as CFO for various payment-related companies, including TASQ Technology, where his responsibilities included managing a vast array of payments and streamlining receivables processing for over 1,500,000 customers. He has provided the same valued service to a variety of industries including industrial supply and distribution, software development, educational products, and credit card processing. He most recently was under contract by an international publicly-traded company in directing its compliance effort with "The US Public Company Accounting Reform and Investor Protection Act of 2002" (Sarbanes-Oxley.) There, he created auditable business processes, improved financial transparency, and created strong internal operational controls.
In recognizing the value and need for the CISI solution by a wide range of businesses, Will joined the company to identify specific enhancement opportunities within organizations and to create a path of execution for those opportunities in an economically feasible manner. He assists small business owners in understanding how the iStream Deposit product streamlines the deposit process and generates significant labor savings. He assists larger clients in identifying solutions that enhance the depository process by automating base depository process flows, cash concentration, availability, and porting of data to solve back office requirements for multi-location and geographically-diverse depository environments. He additionally oversees integration with software developers in niche industries offering them opportunities to expand their system's functionality to include "presentment services." These services benefit the end-user and are designed to yield profitable recurring revenue streams for the developers. Lastly, Mr. Simoneaux assists community banks in identifying the value of using CISI's turnkey solution as a back office solution for the community bank's business customers.
Stafford Smith, CPA
Stafford comes to CISI as a financial and operations executive with over 40 years of experience, primarily with technology-related companies. He has extensive CPA, consulting, and securities experience. Stafford was formerly the Senior Manager at Andersen Consulting, the VP of Operations and Finance at Chase Computer Corporation, later acquired by MSI Data Corp., VP of Operations and Finance at Tasq Technology, later acquired by First Data Corp., Project Manager at Envoy Corporation, and Business Unit Leader, managing relationships between the centralized IT department and operational division at Harris Corporation. He has worked with both public and private companies to raise capital, obtain financing, structure management teams, implement operating systems and negotiate exits. His experiences range from pre-revenue startups to companies with multi-billion dollar revenues. His board of directors experience includes privately-held and publicly-traded companies. He previously was on the board of directors and audit committee of MSI Data Corp. which was later acquired by Symbol Technologies. Stafford is a member of AICPA, Society of LA CPAs and TN Society of CPAs.
